Ivan Toney nets penalty as Bees continue incredible unbeaten run


Ivan Toney continued his form in front of goal with a penalty as Brentford beat London rivals Fulham 3-2 to make it 12 Premier League games without a defeat.

Sasa Lukic was handed his full debut for Fulham in the derby.

The Serbian midfielder, a January signing from Torino, replaced Joao Palhinha, who is suspended.

Mikkel Damsgaard replaced Josh Dasilva for Brentford.

Brentford took the lead after only seven minutes through Ethan Pinnock’s deflected strike.

Fulham equalised against the run of play six minutes before half-time through Manor Solomon’s fifth goal in five matches.

Brentford went 2-1 up five minutes after half-time through a penalty from Ivan Toney after Issa Diop fouled Christian Norgaard.

Mathias Jensen made it 3-1 to Brentford with five minutes left.

Fulham grabbed a consolation goal in the eighth minute of injury time after David Raya spilled Andreas Pereira’s ambitious long-range effort and was lobbed by substitute Carlos Vinicius.
